Ceit is an 18 year old Classical Performance Voice student at the University of Canterbury, studying with Dame Malvina Major. This year she will be completing the second year of her Bachelor of Music.
Ceit’s achievements to date include successes in nationwide singing competitions, including Auckland’s North Shore, Nelson and Blenheim. She was awarded a vocal scholarship from the Nelson School of Music and has performed with the National Young Women in Harmony National Chorus and The Big Sing secondary school choir competitions. She was also a participant in the 2009 New Zealand National Singing School in Napier.
As well as being a member of the 2009 Solid Energy Ensemble of Southern Opera, she will be in the chorus of this year’s production, The Magic Flute.
