Raemon is a mezzo-soprano from Canterbury who had her first taste of Opera in Canterbury Opera's production of Mozart's The Magic Flute in 1986. She has performed in over 20 productions for the previous company ranging from Rossini to Puccini to Verdi and learning her stage-craft along the way. She studied with renowned singing teacher Clifton Cook and now works with Marie Landis.
Raemon performs regularly in concerts and church events. She sang for Southern Opera in the chorus of Carmen in 2007 and Il trovatore in 2008. During 2008 she was a member of the Solid Energy Ensemble of Southern Opera and performed her debut role with the company as La Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi.
