Southern Opera singers Emma Pearson and Wade Kernot were a hit with children at a musical Christchurch kindergarten even if some small ears needed protection.
Bass Kernot and soprano Pearson yesterday performed pieces from The Magic Flute at Mozart's Performing Arts Kindergarten in St Albans.
The kindergarten focuses on music, dance, drama and visual arts, and the children are studying the Mozart opera this week. Kernot warned the children they might need to cover their ears as he demonstrated the power of his voice.
The Magic Flute begins on Tuesday at the Isaac Theatre Royal.
